BRATISLAVA: Slovakia may sell up to 2 billion euros ($2.8 bln) worth of a new seven-year bond via syndication this autumn, depending on market conditions, the finance ministry's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency (ARDAL) said on Monday.
"We are worried about how market situation in autumn will be," Daniel Bytcanek, the head of ARDAL, told Reuters. "If they are very bad we will not do it."
Bytcanek said impact from ongoing debt crisis in the euro zone on Slovakia was not significant thanks to country's strong cash position and good structure of its debt portfolio.
