LARKANA: Deputy Commissioner Larkana Javeed Ali Jagerani Tuesday directed the officers to ensure better sanitary system and make all necessary arrangements on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain(RA).
This he said while presiding over a meeting regarding the Chehlum arrangements here at his office.
The meeting was attended by SSP Larkana Kamran Nawaz, ASP City Larkana, Officials of Shahbaz Rangers, the Ulema of various schools of thought, Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Larkana, Municipal Commissioner Larkana, TMA Larkana and officers of various departments.
The Ulema present called for same security arrangements in the city for the occasion, like made during the month of Muharram.
SSP Larkana told the meeting that strict security arrangements have been made in the District and a control room is being set up to keep a stricter watch on the miscreants.
Municipal Commissioner, Municipal Administration Larkana told the meeting that cleanliness, water supply and electricity arrangements were being made along the traditional routes of "Chehlum" processions in the city.
