ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates is expecting gross domestic product growth of between 3 and 3.5 percent in both 2015 and 2016, the country's economy minister said on Tuesday.
The figure for 2015 was below the 4 percent which the UAE central bank forecast for the year back in July.
"If we continue to have minimum increase in the price of oil, we will have 3 to 3.5 percent growth in 2016," Sultan bin Saeed al-Mansouri told reporters on the sidelines of an economic forum.
