KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Wednesday having 33020.26 points with a positive change of 228.55 and volume of 117,166,660 shares.
High and Low were 33070.85 and 32791.71 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 195,423,260 shares with 344 total traded companies out of which 201 were up 122 were down and 21 were unchanged.
POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTIONwas the top traded sector with total traded volume of 26,356,000 shares. It was followed by CABLE & ELECTRICAL GOODS with a total traded volume of 18,843,060 shares.
The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 21,079,500 and price per share of 7.56 (0.19), Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume 15,587,500 of price per share of 19.56 (0.73), Pak Elektron with a volume 14,942,500 of price per share of 67.15 (2.90).
The top three advancers were Ferozsons (Lab) with price per share 1079.87 (88.05), Mari Petroleum with price per share of 596.94 (55.13) and Hinopak Motor share of 1029.00 (3.90).
The top three decliners were Nestle Pak with price per share of 7885.00 (-715.00), Indus Dyeing with price per share of 1045.00 (-55.00) and Exide (PAK) share of 837.00 (-26.73).
