KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed on Friday having 33048.51 points with a negative change of 163.41 and volume of 130,985,170 shares.
High and Low were 33247.99 and 33033.37 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 189,185,400 shares with 317 total traded companies out of which 108 were up 188 were down and 21 were unchanged.
COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 55,609,800 shares. It was followed by OIL & GAS MARKETING COMPANIES with a total traded volume of 31,992,850 shares.
The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab with a volume of 45,282,000 and price per share of 9.73 ( 0.54), Sui South Gas with a volume 28,140,500 of price per share of 44.55 ( 0.62), Silk Bank Ltd with a volume 4,833,500 of price per share of 1.90 (0.03).
The top three advancers were Bata (Pak) XD with price per share 3440.09 (135.09), Exide (PAK) with price per share of 922.79 ( 43.94) and Mari Petroleum share of 658.11 (31.33).
The top three decliners were Nestle Pak with price per share of 7490.75 (-394.25), Sapphire Fiber with price per share of 731.50 (-38.50) and Ferozsons (Lab) share of 1106.65 (-27.19).
