KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Monday having 32757.82 points with a negative change of -290.69 and volume of 100,639,970 shares.
High and Low were 33048.51 and 32497.42 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 144,518,320 shares with 317 total traded companies out of which 70 were up 231 were down and 16 were unchanged.
OIL & GAS MARKETING COMPANIES was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 28,843,300 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 21,631,200 shares.
The three top traded companies were Treet Corp with a volume of 3,183,500 and price per share of 62.95 (0.55), Pak Oilfields with a volume 1,877,100 of price per share of 272.83 (3.25), D.G.K.Cement with a volume 1,617,900 of price per share of 139.11 ( 0.76).
The top three advancers were Exide (PAK) with price per share 967.59 (44.80), Sapphire Tex. with price per share of 768.00 (36.50) and Mari Petroleum share of 688.98 (30.87).
The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) XD with price per share of 3300.00 (-140.09), Siemens Pak. with price per share of 920.00 (-43.75) and Ferozsons (Lab) share of 1065.78 (-40.87).
