KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Tuesday having 32467.04 points with a negative change of -290.78 and volume of 96,767,470 shares.
High and Low were 32994.96 and 32420.44 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 145,502,100 shares with 329 total traded companies out of which 99 were up 213 were down and 17 were unchanged.
TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 21,942,000 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 12,994,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were Pak Petroleum with a volume of 3,672,900 and price per share of 110.95 (4.24), Oil & Gas Dev. with a volume 2,462,300 of price per share of 111.80 (0.41), Pak Int.Bulk with a volume 2,394,500 of price per share of 28.11 ( 0.05).
The top three advancers were Siemens Pak. with price per share 950.00 (30.00), Khyber Tobacco XD with price per share of 398.00 (18.14) and Shield Corp. share of 371.12 (17.32).
The top three decliners were Nestle Pak with price per share of 7116.22 (-374.53), Island Textile with price per share of 635.00 (-33.00) and Exide (PAK) share of 942.68 (-24.91).
