KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Wednesday having 32714.60 points with a positive change of 247.56 and volume of 107,924,340 shares.
High and Low were 32746.27 and 32467.04 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 149,012,250 shares with 322 total traded companies out of which 181 were up 120 were down and 21 were unchanged.
OIL & GAS MARKETING COMPANIES was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 33,081,100 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 20,682,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were TRG Pak Ltd with a volume of 17,383,000 and price per share of 34.64 (0.31), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 12,896,000 of price per share of 7.63 (0.13), Oil & Gas Dev. with a volume 6,600,100 of price per share of 113.48 ( 1.68).
The top three advancers were Pak Suzuki with price per share 490.70 (23.36), Shezan Inter. with price per share of 650.00 (20.00) and Sunrays Textile share of 435.00 (19.23).
The top three decliners were Nestle Pak with price per share of 7000.00 (-116.22), Atlas BatteryXD with price per share of 766.00 (-24.00) and Pak TobaccoXD share of 1000.00 (-20.00).
