KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Thursday having 33109.54 points with a positive change of 394.94and volume of 93,414,680 shares.
High and Low were 33162.05 and 32714.60 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 142,182,870 shares with 331 total traded companies out of which 226 were up 92 were down and 13 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 15,907,600 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 15,418,500 shares.
The three top traded companies were Pak Elektron with a volume of 8,831,500 and price per share of 67.59 (0.51), Oil & Gas Dev. with a volume 8,400,500 of price per share of 117.67 (4.19), Sui North Gas with a volume 5,557,500 of price per share of 26.74 ( 0.24).
The top three advancers were Nestle Pak with price per share 7090.00 ( 90.00), Island Textile with price per share of 666.75 (31.75) and Highnoon (Lab) share of 513.97 (24.47).
The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 8787.50 (-462.50), Murree Brewery with price per share of 984.20 (-51.80) and Mari Petroleum share of 679.07 (-19.58).
