MULTAN: Police teams on Monday arrested 45 criminals including 22 proclaimed offenders (POs) during separate raids across the district.
According to police sources, various teams conducted separate raids and arrested 22 proclaimed offenders wanted in cases of dacoity, robbery, theft and other crimes. Police also apprehended 12 drug peddlers and four illegal weapon holders, recovered 86 litres liquor, 4405 grams Hashish, three pistols, and a riffle from their possession.
The police also arrested three gamblers with stake money (Rs 15000) and three fireworks sellers. Another accused was arrested for giving wrong information of dacoity on police helpline 15, police added. Separate cases were registered against the accused.
