KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Monday having 32674.04 points with a positive change of 173.29 and volume of 84,351,050 shares.
High and Low were 32763.33 and 32500.75 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 120,038,340 shares with 321 total traded companies out of which 149 were up 142 were down and 30 were unchanged.
TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 20,142,000 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 15,659,700 shares.
The three top traded companies were TRG Pak Ltd with a volume of 11,185,000 and price per share of 35.70 ( 1.70), Byco Petroleum with a volume 6,676,500 of price per share of 23.03 (1.06), B.O.Punjab with a volume 5,799,500 of price per share of 9.19 ( 0.15).
The top three advancers were Nestle Pak with price per share 7600.00 ( 250.00), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 977.42 ( 46.27) and Ferozsons (Lab)share of 1060.57 (39.51).
The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 8850.00 (-49.99), Exide (PAK) with price per share of 942.60 (-18.90) and Service Ind.Ltd of 852.00 ( -17.73).
