KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Tuesday having 32802.11 points with a positive change of 128.07 and volume of 94,815,500 shares.
High and Low were 32952.42 and 32671.46 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 144,739,380 shares with 329 total traded companies out of which 126 were up 187 were down and 16 were unchanged.
TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 21,970,500 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 16,345,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume of 10,916,000 and price per share of 21.40 ( 0.34), Fauji Fert. with a volume 4,999,700of price per share of 119.10 (4.23), Pak Petroleum with a volume 4,969,100 of price per share of 124.01 ( 5.90).
The top three advancers were Nestle Pak with price per share 7980.00 ( 380.00), Rafhan Maize with price per share of 9050.00 ( 200.00) and Philip Morris Pak. share of 1770.90 (33.18).
The top three decliners were Atlas Battery with price per share of 755.05 (-33.95), Exide (PAK) with price per share of 928.24 (-14.36) and AKD Capital of 345.48 ( -18.18).
