KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Wednesday having 32961.78 points with a positive change of 13.14 and volume of 57,891,490 shares.
High and Low were 32961.78 and 32734.06 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 79,953,410 shares with 317 total traded companies out of which 160 were up 143 were down and 14 were unchanged.
TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 11,175,500 shares. It was followed by CABLE & ELECTRICAL GOODS with a total traded volume of 9,750,220 shares.
The three top traded companies were TRG Pak Ltd with a volume of 8,883,500 and price per share of 35.09 ( 0.08), B.O.Punjab with a volume 2,627,000 of price per share of 9.13 ( 0.06), Oil & Gas Dev. with a volume 2,558,000 of price per share of 117.98 ( 0.73).
The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 6200.00 ( 200.00), Colgate Palmo with price per share of 1479.00 ( 53.00) and Pak Tobacco share of 1061.14 (34.85).
The top three decliners were Nestle Pak with price per share of 7750.00 (-230.00), Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 1685.20 (-85.70) and Sapphire Fiber of 741.00 ( -38.50).
