KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 33081.67 with a change of 265.36 and volume of 36,084,960 shares.
High and Low were 33123.33 and 32816.31 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 56,352,150 shares with 244 total traded companies out of which 165 were up, 63 were down and 16 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 22,522,700 shares. It was followed by INV. BANKS / INV. COS. / SECURITIES COS. with a total traded volume of 6,348,500 shares.
The three top traded companies were Fauji Cement with a volume of 10,177,000and price per share of 37.79 ( 0.97), Ist.Dawood Bank with a volume 5,164,000 of price per share of 1.55 (0.22), MapleLeafCement with a volume 3,159,500 of price per share of 78.30 ( 3.72).
The top three advancers were Pak Tobacco with price per share 1150.00 ( 35.81), Exide (PAK) with price per share of 938.75 (31.6) and Sapphire Fiber share of 724.90 ( 20.95).
The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 2210.00 (-110.00), Bata (Pak) with price per share of 3211.00 (-58.70) and Indus Dyeing per share of 910.55 (-21.78).
