KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Monday having 32968.40 points with a negative change of 219.82 and volume of 68,939,590 shares.
High and Low were 33304.40 and 32968.40 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 109,619,930 shares with 316 total traded companies out of which 86 were up 217 were down and 13 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 28,716,600 shares. It was followed by CABLE & ELECTRICAL GOODS with a total traded volume of 17,432,900 shares.
The three top traded companies were Pak Elektron with a volume of 15,384,000 and price per share of 66.42 ( 2.82), Dewan Cement with a volume 8,565,500 of price per share of 13.98 ( 0.12), Pak TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 7,597,000 of price per share of 35.23 ( 0.07).
The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 6100.00 ( 150.00), Bata (Pak) with price per share of 3300.00 ( 134.75) and Island Textile share of 675.00 (30.00).
The top three decliners were Murree Brewery with price per share of 939.68 (-49.15), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 640.00 (-29.99) and Atlas Battery of 751.00 ( -12.00).
