KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Wednesday having 32968.26 points with a negative change of 15.21 and volume of 61,265,020 shares.
High and Low were 33123.53 and 32930.37 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 100,527,340 shares with 311 total traded companies out of which 119 were up 171 were down and 21 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 23,497,100 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 10,492,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were TRG Pak Ltd with a volume of 7,362,500 and price per share of 34.65 ( 0.06), Gharibwal Cement with a volume 6,266,000 of price per share of 48.27 ( 2.29), D.G.K.Cement with a volume D.G.K.Cement of price per share of 153.64 ( 0.05).
The top three advancers were Ferozsons (Lab) with price per share 1213.11 ( 56.67), Bata (Pak) with price per share of 3190.00 ( 28.25) and Highnoon (Lab) share of 607.68 (25.46).
The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 8700.00 (-350.00), Nestle Pak with price per share of 7555.00 (-245.00) and Sapphire Fiber of 683.45 ( - 15.50).
