KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Thursday having 32682.50 points with a negative change of 285.76 and volume of 79,274,950 shares.
High and Low were 32969.03 and 32651.72 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 135,851,320 shares with 328 total traded companies out of which 86 were up 227 were down and 15 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 22,760,600 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 15,994,600 shares.
The three top traded companies were Dewan Cement with a volume of 6,091,500 and price per share of 14.02 ( 0.15), Pak Int.Bulk with a volume 5,938,000 of price per share of 28.48 (0.59), Dolmen City Rei with a volume 4,676,500 of price per share of 10.50 ( 0.10).
The top three advancers were Ferozsons (Lab) with price per share 1272.43 ( 59.32), Colgate Palmo with price per share of 1480.00 ( 30.00) and Service Ind.Ltd share of 899.10 (25.82).
The top three decliners were Unilever Foods with price per share of 6000.00 (-100.00), Shezan Inter. with price per share of 610.00 (-24.75) and Exide (PAK) of 899.00 ( - 16.00).
