KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Friday having 32534.85 points with a negative change of 147.65 and volume of 71,870,460 shares.
High and Low were 32775.40 and 32476.42 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 110,555,990 shares with 332 total traded companies out of which 108 were up 201 were down and 23 were unchanged.
COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 14,951,800 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 14,355,400 shares.
The three top traded companies were Pak Int.Bulk with a volume of 9,625,500 and price per share of 29.37 ( 0.89), Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume 7,029,500 of price per share of 21.12 ( 0.50), Pak Elektron with a volume 4,001,500 of price per share of 67.96 ( 0.10).
The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 6200.00 ( 200.00), Ghandhara Ind. with price per share of 342.40 ( 16.30) and Colgate Palmo share of 1494.80 (14.80).
The top three decliners were Indus Dyeing with price per share of 850.00 (-38.00), Nestle Pak with price per share of 7530.00 (-25.00) and Exide (PAK)of 876.21 ( -22.79).
