WASHINGTON: President Barack Obama will make his previously cancelled trip to Australia to celebrate the key ally's 60 years of ties with the United States in November, the White House said Monday.
The trip, at the invitation of Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, will take place on a journey which includes Obama's duties as host of the Asia Pacific Cooperation (APEC) forum in Hawaii and an East Asia summit in Bali, Indonesia.
