SYDNEY: Australian captain Shane Watson won the toss and chose to bat in the third Twenty20 international against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday.
Australia made five changes for the game, with India already holding an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Watson took over the captaincy duties from the injured Aaron Finch (hamstring), with the home side promoting debutants Usman Khawaja and Cameron Bancroft, along with Travis Head, Cameron Boyce and Shaun Tait into the makeshift team.
Dropping out were Finch, spinner Nathan Lyon, Matthew Wade, James Faulkner and John Hastings.
India named an unchanged side, having used the same 11 for all three matches.
