ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Tuesday thanked Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, who is the Patron-in-Chief of PHF for announcing cash prizes for the members of Pakistan Whites hockey team that won gold medal in the 12th South Asian Games (SAG).
Pakistan Hockey Federation is grateful to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for the generous announcement of Rs 0.5 million for each member of the winning hockey team, said a news release issued by PHF here.
"This gesture of the Prime Minister speaks volumes for his love and passion for the game of Hockey. Pakistan Hockey Federation assures each and every lover and supporter of hockey that it will leave no stone unturned in promoting and reviving the game of hockey in Pakistan. We need continued support, guidance and sincere wishes of all," the news release added.
