NAWABSHAH: Higher Education Commission (HEC) Chairman Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed has said that the HEC will soon launch an educational channel that would provide extensive details of the latest technology in vogue around the world.
Addressing the National Conference on "How to bring new Technology", organised by Information Technology Department at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology, he said that it was the technology that helped human being land at moon.
He said that the HEC is playing an important role in promoting use of technology in the country.
He said that such conferences are held by the HEC in collaboration with universities, which bring great benefits to students. He said that the HEC extended scholarships to universities apart from different projects and was offering help to teachers in doing PhD.
President Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi Prof Dr Zameer Shaikh, Dean Prof Dr Zahid Abro, Conference Focal Person Dr Saleem Waghio and Chairman Information Technology Dr Ibrahim Channa also addressed the conference.
Research scholars also presented their research papers on the occasion.
