NBP earmarks Rs141.5 mn for flood affectees

KARACHI : The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has earmarked Rs141.5 million for the people affected by the recent floods

nbpKARACHI: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has earmarked Rs141.5 million for the people affected by the recent floods including a contribution of Rs25 million in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.

According to NBP here Saturday, out of the total, Rs50 million will be spent on the establishment of medical camps in almost all affected areas where volunteers from NBP and People's Doctors Forum are rendering their services day and night for the benefit of the ailing people.

NBP has also contributed Rs66.5 million for tents to provide temporary shelter to those who have lost their homes during the current devastating floods.
