Vietnam to auction 2tn dong in bonds on Sept 22
HANOI: Vietnam's State Treasury will auction 2 trillion dong ($96 million) worth of bonds at a weekly government bond auction on Thursday at the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the exchange said.
The treasury would sell three-year and five-year bonds, each to raise 1 trillion dong, the exchange said in a statement seen on Monday.
At its last auction, on Sept. 15, The treasury sold 360 billion dong of three-year bonds and 250 billion dong of five-year debt both at a yield of 12.14 percent.
Meanwhile, on Sept. 16, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, one of the country's two state policy lenders, raised 25 billion dong at a yield of 12 percent, the exchange said in a separately statement.
