imageISLAMABAD: Spokesperson to Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Shireen Mazari has demanded holding of NA-267 Jal Magsi bye-elections under the supervision of the Army.

In a letter written to Chief Election Commissioner, she said that given the prevailing situation, the election should be held under the supervision of the army and they should be present outside and inside the polling stations.

There is no caretaker government setup, therefore, to avoid the government's influence and interference , PTI demands that Returning Officers (ROs) and DPRs should be from judiciary.

PTI also demanded that the polling staff be from outside the Jal Magsi.
