Former Pakistan pace man and current UAE Coach Aqib Javed has decided that not to apply for the post of Head coach of the Pakistani cricket team.
According to local media report, Aqib Javed expressed his reservations ever since the post became vacant. Javed was of the view that the selection committee is biased therefore he will not be submitting his application.
He added that he even intimated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of his availability when the board inquired from him.
Javed said that he has no conflicts with former captains Rameez Raja and Wasim Akram but he decided not to apply for the designation of Head coach after the former two expressed their thoughts regarding taking services of a foreign player as the coach for the team.
However, former Head Coach Waqar Younis has resigned as Pakistan's coach three months before his contract was going to end, came after Pakistan's disappointing performances in the Asia Cup in Bangladesh and the World T20 in India.
