MULTAN: The police Saturday arrested 40 criminals and recovered drugs and illegal weapons from their possession.
According to police, the police arrested six drug peddlers from various parts of the district and recovered 95 litre liquor and 125 grams Hashish from their possession.
Four illegal weapon holders were arrested with two pistols, a carbine, a repeater and a number of bullets.
Police also claimed to have apprehended 30 proclaimed offenders (POs) wanted by police in different cases of dacoity, robbery, theft and other crimes.
Cases have been registered against the outlaws.
