LAHORE: Federal Minster for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor was a unprecedented gift of China to Pakistan and work was being carried out speedily on projects under CPEC across the country including Punjab.
He said Pakistan as well as the whole region would get economic benefits from the projects of CPEC.
He said Pakistan was progressing and prospering under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
He said a handful of elements were creating hurdles in the prosperity of the people and development of the country but people had rejected these elements in general elections 2013 and local bodies elections.
