HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks fell almost one percent in the morning session Friday as profit-takers moved in following recent gains, while traders also tracked losses on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong slipped 0.95 percent, or 205.81 points, to 21,416.44.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.59 percent, or 17.54 points, to 2,935.35 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.23 percent, or 4.18 points, to 1,844.35.
