ABIDJAN: Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast reached around 1,269,000 tonnes by May 8 since the start of the season on Oct. 1 last year, exporters estimated on Monday, down from 1,373,000 tonnes in the same period of the previous season.
The arrivals were updated with official Coffee and Cocoa Council data as of April 30.
Exporters estimated around 16,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to the ports of Abidjan and San Pedro between May 2 and May 8, down from 26,000 tonnes in the same period last year.
