Five armed dacoits looted an amount of Rs 0.8 million from staff members of Smera Fabrics near Rasulpura in broad day light, which was carrying in a truck for payment of salaries.
According to reports, Mohammed Ashfaq and Rub Nawaz were going to Smera Fabrics Unit No 3 with a cash of Rs 0.8 million for payment of salaries in a truck LS-4470.
When they reached near Rasulpura, on Faisalabad Sheikhupura road, four armed dacoits riding in a white colour car, made hostage them at gunpoint. Where, the dacoits looted them beat them up badly, snatched the bag of cash of salaries and fled away.
In another incident, four armed dacoits in police uniform, looted a car, Rs 3.9 lakhs in cash and other valuables from a businessman after forcibly abducting him at gunpoint.
According to details, a businessman Mohsin Raza was coming to Faisalabad from Okara in his car. When he was reached Samundri, four policemen, wearing uniform stopped for checking.
Suddenly, these armed dacoits made him hostage at gunpoint and took him to in nearby village, where the dacoits looted him.
At Sargodha road, more than 16-armed dacoits looted Mian Sizing Factory and fled away with 250 cotton yarn bags worth Rs 1.6 million.
At Muslim Town Jaranwala, more than seven dacoits entered the house of Imam Masjid Moulvi Gulzar Ahmad and looted gold ornaments worth 10 thousand of rupees as well as cash Rs 1700/- Masjid Fund. Moulvi Gulzar Ahmad, his wife, son and brother-in-law tied with ropes and fled away after locked the doors from outside.
