People's Youth Organisation (PYO) on Sunday established a hunger strike camp at Khuni Burj to press the rulers for the release of Asif Ali Zardari spouse of chairperson of PPPP Benazir Bhutto, Malik Salahuddin Dogar, ex-MPA and former mayor of Multan, withdrawal of corruption cases against Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani former speaker of National Assembly, Jehangir Badar, Central Secretary General of PPP, Naheed Khan and others.
Malik Abbas Dogar, Habibullah Shakir, Khawaja Rizwan Alam, Tariq Raza Khan, and other leaders and a large number of workers took party in the token hunger strike.
"We will continue our struggle till the release of Asif Ali Zardari, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, and Malik Salahuddin Dogar who were being victimised for not bowing down before the military general," said Malik Abbas Dogar of PYO.
"MMA has stabbed in the back of opposition by joining hands with the military adventurist and indemnified his all extra-constitutional and illegal acts and now we would have to expose them too," said Habibullah Shakir.
