A three-day course on "WTO and its standards" was started at the National Institute of Labour Administration Training (Nilat) here on Monday (January 5).
The Nilat is the only Federal government institution in the country, which imparts training in labour administration, industrial welfare and other related fields.
The Vice-President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Engineer M. A. Jabbar, has been invited by the Nilat in view of his "vast knowledge and experience on the subject" to deliver lectures on the following topics:
-- The concept of multi-lateral trading system due to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) regime.
-- The problems to Pakistan economy due to the WTO regulations - possible measures.
