London wheat prices slip

London feed wheat futures finished lower in modest volumes on Tuesday, weighed by weakness in the French market, where milling wheat contracts slipped amid renewed dollar weakness against the euro and fears of a pickup in farm sales, dealers said.
Most active old crop May wheat lost 40 pence to close at 113.75 pounds a tonne after trading a tight 113.50-114.00 range on volume of 176 lots from total turnover of 186.
By 1711 GMT in Paris, Euronext futures were down between 0.50 and 1.00 euros on all old crop contracts. Three days ahead of its expiry January was 1.00 euro lower at 156.00 euros a tonne, more than 12 euros off last year's contract high.
