Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi undertook a number of decisions regarding holding of Horse and Cattle Show in a meeting held here on Saturday.
Chief Minister allowed making of kites and their transportation on the occasion. This permission is applicable in the Province in period January 20 to February 20.
Pervaiz also vowed to promote Kabbadi and Dangal in the province.
He asked the officials to get in touch with traditional families involved in these arts on the occasion.
The meeting decided to hold Jashn-e-Baharan from February 5 to 15 in the Province and Horse & Cattle Show at Lahore from February 16 to 20.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi has asked the administration to take steps to stop use of metallic wire and firearms in the Province during forthcoming Basant festivities.
He also formed a committee to give proposals on kite flying in the Province on the occasion.
