A ten-member delegation of Al-Tuwairqi Group of Companies, visiting Karachi from Saudi Arabia, discussed the prospects of investment in Billet Mills with director (technical services), Pakistan Steel, Taha Saeed, proposed to be established at Pakistan Steel Mills' site on the basis of mutual co-operation and participation on Monday.
Besides trade aspects, the facilities to be provided by Pakistan Steel including 200 acres land, port handling, seawater, electricity, oxygen, security, offices and residential facilities were discussed during the meeting.
The delegation was told that establishing Billet Mills in the proximity of Pakistan Steel is a suitable step due to its location near the port, railway line and thoroughfares.
Besides, the infrastructure already existing in Pakistan Steel would help establish the Billet Mills with least cost.
