I am pleased to welcome overseas delegates from various parts of the world to attend e-Business 2004 event at Karachi. I hope that this event would bring experience of East Asia and European countries to Pakistan and professionals involved in e-Business and Trade Facilitation would learn from the conference and its Joint Working Group sessions.
It should also assist in building knowledge infrastructure required for e-Business projects.
Since e-Readiness level in South Asian countries is among lowest in the world, e-Business 2004 will be helpful to determine the gap analysis and assist in developing an e-Business road map for stakeholders in developing countries.
Delegates from Government, financial sector, business and industry and faculty from business and ICT schools have the unique opportunity to share the experiences of international experts at one place on latest trends and technologies in e-Business and Trade Facilitation during the e-Business 2004 Exhibition and Conference.
