The Karachi Port handled 91,454 tonnes of cargo including 53,730 tonnes import and 37,724 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 40,154 tonnes dry and 51,300 tonnes liquid cargo.
Eight ships namely Ocean Bird, Kota Hening, Kota Waruna, Orient Stride, Bunga Delima, Apl Emerald, Kota Teraju and Emerates Peace sailed to sea during the report period.
Three vessels viz Apl Emerald, Hyundai Future and Ocean-1 are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Kota Indha and Hyundai Future expected to sail on Thursday, while two vessels viz Allenmar and Jade Trader are expected to sail on Friday.
M.V. Le Ding due to arrive on Thursday, while seven vessels viz Oriental Po, Metin Ka, Al Kyon, Nord Beach, Corinthiakos, Kota Teguh and Global Traveller are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 43,546 tonnes including 33,550 tonnes import and 9,996 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 5,282 tonnes edible oil; 10,015 tonnes general cargo; 7,764 tonnes coal and 20,485 tonnes containerised cargo.
M.V. Maersk Avon expected to sail on Thursday.
Two ships namely Safmarine Prime and Yanaseul due to take berths on Thursday.
