No SHC directive, claims Aptma CEO

The CEO of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, Mohammad Azam, in a communication to Business Recorder said on Friday that the report in the issue of January 15 had created an impression that direction by the SHC had been given to the Chief Executive Officer of Aptma to hold a managing committee meeting.
The correct position, Azam claimed, is that the High Court had given its observation, but no direction, that the grievance of the respondent could be redressed by directing the CEO Aptma to call the meeting of the CMC on receipt of requisition as per Article 62 of the Association.
