The head of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Shabir Ahmed Shah has expressed the confidence that India-Pakistan peace efforts will lead to durable solution of Kashmir issue.
In an interview he said, Kashmiris are anxiously looking forward to the success of Indo-Pakistan composite talks on all subjects including Kashmir.
He pointed out that thaw in India-Pakistan relations should result in ending of state terrorism in occupied Kashmir.
He deplored that death and destruction by Indian troops is still order of the day.
The Indian troops have unleashed terrorism in several places of Islamabad and Kupwara districts.
The spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front said in Srinagar that during the Party's signature's campaign, the people narrated blood-curdling horrors perpetrated on Kashmiris by the Indian troops.
He said the worst affected places include the rural areas of Kupwara district particularly Lolab.
Terror has also been unearthed by the personnel of a newly set up military camp in the valley, which sparked forceful anti-India demonstrations.
Hundreds of people took to the streets and marched to the local police station demanding shifting of the military camp.
An APHC delegation, led by Mohammad Saleem Zargar, visited Tral to express solidarity with the bereaved family of an innocent person who was recently martyred by troops.
The Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism martyred two more Kashmiris, one at village Batanoor, in Tral area and the other at village Manjdhara, in Manjhkot area of Rajouri district.
A soldier on leave was shot dead at his house at Dardpora in Lolab area, A frustrated Indian soldier shot himself dead after killing a colleague at Sankoo, near Kargil.
