Justice and Peace Commission of Pakistan has expressed its concern on the two bomb blasts in front of bible society and trinity Church describing it an indication of growing incidents of terrorism which are developing sense of insecurity among the minorities in Pakistan.
"We are feeling insecure and unsafe under prevailing conditions. Two bomb blasts in front of Trinity Church and Bible Society are an eye-opener for the rulers who are claiming that all is well," said Sr. Noris Nawab Chairperson of JPC.
She said that killers of Priest George Ibrahim of Renala Khurd (assassinated on July 5, 2003) and Priest Muhtar Barkat Masih of Khanewal (murdered on January 05, 2004) could not be arrested so far.
Similarly terrorists involved in the killing of 46 Christians were not punished. This situation and inability of law enforcing agencies is encouraging the terrorists to do what they like, she added.
Fr. Albert Yuhanna a local priest, Aftab Alexander Mugha, Executive Secretary of JPC have also condemned the growing incidents of terrorism in the country and said that yesterdays bomb blasts are eye-opener for the law enforcing agencies.

George Ibrahim of Renala Khurd (Okara) and Fr. Mukhtar Barkat in Khanewal were not arrested immediately.
Addressing a press conference here, Bishop John Victor mal, bishop of church of Pakistan, Naveed Amer Jeeva, MPA, Fr. James Channan O. P, An emissary of Pope John Paul-II for Muslim-Christians religious affairs, Sr. Noris Nawab, Chairperson of Justice and Peace Commission and Aftab Alexandar Mughal, Executive Secretary of Justice and Peace Commission said," we would be forced to launch an agitation if the killers of two priests were not arrested within seven days and they would also observe hunger strike and stage demonstrations besides moving to the court of law and International Court of Justice."
