An international standard resort would be constructed at Wagha to facilitate the foreign tourists, in which lodges and car-parking facilities would be provided.
In this regard MD Tourism has been directed to prepare a feasibility report.
This was decided in a meeting held here on Friday under the chairmanship of Punjab Tourism Minister Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, which was also attended by Tourism MD Syed Raees Abbas Zaidi and other senior officials.
The meeting was informed that under the supervision of Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP), Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management would be started in the last week of this month.
The Minister directed the Department to address the complaints of residents of Jallo areas and ensure conducive environment.
He also directed the Tourism MD to set up Information Tourism Centres at historical and important visiting sports.
