A renowned human rights activist Ansar Burney advocate has asked Pakistan and Dubai governments to help his trust in searching nine bodies of Pakistani immigrants drowned into seawater by human smugglers.
The Pakistan's civil rights organisation Ansar Burney Welfare Trust International has started its efforts to search and bring back nine bodies of Pakistani immigrants who were drowned into Dubai seawater.
The Trust has contacted the Dubai government for search and bringing back the bodies from the seawater. Burney said that according to the only survived eyewitness, nine innocent people were thrown into deep seawater by the cruel human smugglers. They all belonged to Mandi Bahauddin of Punjab province.
He said out of 10, only one Qamar Zaman survived and nine of them were drowned. The Trust has been informed by Qamar Zaman that nine innocent Pakistanis (illegal immigrants) have been thrown into the deep seawater, in Dubai by the cruel agent, about three or four days earlier.
According to reports, the agent took these illegal immigrants on a false promise of helping them get lucrative jobs in Dubai and thrown them into the deep sea, a statement issued by the Burney Trust here on Monday said.
It may be recalled here that in the last few months the Ansar Burney Trust has succeeded in bringing back thousands of such Pakistanis from the different foreign prisons as well as those who were stranded in different countries.
