The Punjab Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) Executive Committee in its meeting here on Wednesday has vowed to continue its struggle for democracy.
The meeting, which was chaired by Qasim Zia head of Punjab segment of the party, expressed apprehensions that 50 percent share would be given to provinces in the NFC Award.
The meeting asked the government to take measures for providing easiness in debt-servicing by the provinces.
Criticising Oil Companies Advisory Committee, the meeting asked the government to abstain from unnecessary increase in petroleum prices. It also took a number of decisions on administrative matters of the party on the occasion.
Meanwhile, PPP stalwarts, including Ghulam Mustafa Khar, Hafeez Pirzada, Rana Shaukat Mahmood, and Abida Hussain in a meeting here on Wednesday decided to establish 'Bhutto Foundation'.
The Foundation, while pledging to struggle for democracy undertook to strive for the rights of the workers so that they could get their due share in the Party. Jahangir Badr, secretary-general of the Party also attended the meeting.
When contacted Qasim Zia head of PPPP Punjab said he was not aware about the meeting.
