Lawyers in Sialkot, Daska, Pasrur, Shakargarh and Narowal will observe complete strike on Friday in protest against the arrest and humiliation of nuclear scientists by the government, according to a press release issued here on Thursday.
Lawyers will observe complete strike and boycott the courts in response to an appeal by the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) to express solidarity with the nuclear scientist.
Meanwhile, in their special meetings, bar associations strongly criticised the government for arresting the nuclear scientists and their debriefing, described the act as unfair and tantamount to tarnishing the image of a sovereign state.
