Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has said that there is no need to change Sindh chief minister neither there is any need to change the provincial government.
While presiding over a high-level meeting at the Prime Minister House here on Friday he asked Mahar to work in close liaison with all the coalition partners and to maintain unity in their ranks and file.
Prime Minister Jamali urged the Sindh Muslim League (PML-Q) and its allied parties to join hands and work together by redoubling their efforts for the socio-economic development of the province and for ameliorating the lot of its people.
"The coalition partners must act in complete unison with a view to resolving the problems being faced by the people," he added.
Among others PML President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Muslim League leader and MNA Hamid Nasir Chattha, Sindh Chief Minister Sardar Ali Muhammad Mahar and his Cabinet members, including Irfanullah Marwat, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Dr Syeda Malik, Imtiaz Sheikh, Irfan Gul Magsi, Ijaz Ali Shah Shirazi and Mir Manzoor Khan Panhwar attended the meeting.
Prime Minister Jamali said that the PML had always believed in politics of consensus and accommodation and it would continue to uphold the same principles in future also. "We are sincere in serving the masses as we would like to transform their fate," he said.
The meeting also considered ways and means for improving and overcoming organisational weaknesses and streamlining the party cadres at all levels.
The coalition partners of the PML in Sindh, particularly the National Alliance, expressed its full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Jamali and Sindh Chief Minister Mahar and said that they would continue to work under their guidance and leadership.
