Golfer Kitamura won the Amateur Golf Tournament organised by the Japanese Association of Pakistan at the Arabian Sea Country Club here on Sunday, January 25. The event was sponsored by Cathay Pacific Airways.
Participants were mainly Japanese amateur golfers in the one-day individual competition.
Shinkai Fujin and Suzuki grabbed the second and third position respectively.
Richard McCallum, Assistant to Country Manager, Cathay Pacific Airways gave away the prizes to the winners and runners up. "Our association with the Japanese Association has been rather successful and we hope to continue doing so in times to come. I would like to congratulate all the golfers for their marvellous efforts and their remarkable sportsman spirit to make this event a huge success," he said.
