Prayers held for safety of scientists

The faithful prayed at the Friday prayers for the safety and integrity of Pakistan as also of the Pakistan nuclear programme and scientists, reports UPP correspondent.
At many mosques in the city, the achievements of the Pakistani scientists in the nuclear field were lauded and government was advised not to stretch the de-briefing of Pakistani nuclear scientists into harassment.
The Khatibs and the Imams also prayed for the success of the freedom struggle from Zionist hold by the Palestinians and the struggle of the Kashmiri people to free themselves from Indian occupation.
