President, Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, said here on Sunday that he would visit India in April this year along with a parliamentary delegation.
He was talking to reporters before leaving for Gujrat where he will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha. He said their allied parliamentarians and of opposition parties would also be included in the delegation so that political parties' contacts could be strengthened between India and Pakistan.
Responding to a question, he said that trade and agricultural co-operation between the two countries in Punjab could bring prosperity and development for the people of both countries.
Meanwhile, in his message on Eid-ul-Azha, Shujaat congratulated the people of Pakistan, He said, "With the spirit of sacrifice, we can get many problems resolved."
He called upon the people to follow Sunnah-e-Ibrahimi in its true spirit. "Following Sunnah Ibrahimi we should pledge to render every sacrifice for the nation, country and the religion."
He said rendering sacrifice "gives us a real happiness" and the Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated to mark it. He said "it is our duty" to include poor, destitute and suppressed class in the pleasures of Eid.
He urged the people to pray for prosperity, national unity, provincial harmony and for the eradication of price hike, hatred and unemployment.
Shujat also called upon all politicians, ulema and others to shun all their differences, showing great spirit of sacrifice, and demonstrate for unity and oneness. He said the non-Muslims should also be included in the Eid's happiness.
