Lala Mohammed Sharif, watchman of Rio Cinema was shot dead by unknown persons in the premises of the cinema, here on Thursday night in mysterious circumstances. Police have registered a case and investigation is in progress.
In another incident, salesman of a shop also died mysteriously. Tanvir Ahmad, an employee of Sheikh Ashfaq of Warispura was taken to the DHQ Hospital where he died some hours later.
Doctors stated he was poisoned, while owner of the shop Ashfaq claimed that Tanvir had committed suicide due to some domestic problems.
However, Tanvir's family alleged that Ashfaq gave him poison. Police have sent the body for autopsy and registered a murder case against Ashfaq.
In third incident, Abdul Razzaq Fauji was gunned down by his younger brother over dispute of a house in Islam Nagar here on Thursday. Civil Lines police have registered a case against the accused and arrested him.
